Learning occurs in many contexts.

In higher education, most of those contexts are formal; they are courses that require registration, payment, assignments, exams, and grades. Sometimes it is helpful to provide other environments in which we can engage and learn from each other through less formal means.

LearnLab is an open learning site designed to provide the students, faculty, and staff of Pulaski Technical College with a forum to engage in learning activities ranging from the simple dissemination of information, to online discussions or blogs, to more structured training such as mini-courses, workshops, or webinars.

LearnLab is co-sponsored by the Department of Distance Education and the Center for Teaching Excellence. Technical support is provided by the Information Technology Division.
